Hello all!

I recently bought this car and I love it.

The owner took great care of the car (records to prove it) but I want to establish a relationship with a mechanic or auto body shop that I can go to for routine maintenance.

I would take it to the BMW dealership but there is no way I can afford $1000 for a level II inspection after seeing what is included in that price.

I live in CT but can easily get to NY if need be. Can anyone recommend a private mechanic, etc that knows enough about BMWs and can be trusted?

Any and all guidance is greatly appreciated.

You might get others to chime in here with a name but in the meantime, why don't you look up a local BMW owners club. You're bound to find a lot of BMW 325 owners that meet for track days or a "technical/service" day at a member's garage. These are the people that will know the good mechanics, who's to be trusted and who won't take advantage of your noob status.
