Do you test for color quality ??  I visited my local Bestbuy with several swatches of purple material. Everyone of the pocket cameras ranging from $100 to $250 and 98% of  the  cameras just above that price range with the exception of the Nikon D80 all showed the  dark purple as  dark blue and the lighter purples were washed out. What's going on ??? My wife is a quilter and I bought her a camera to take to quilt shows. She photographed a blue and purple quilt and the whole thing came out blue. The blue happens with or without the flash. If you want, I will send you the swatches I used for my testing so you can see for yourself. I am very disappointed!! Also on some of the cameras that were showing purple as blue I was able to readjust the white balance and the problem was not corrected.
